I truly love welcoming new families to our pediatric practice. Stellar Kids Dentistry is a culmination of my passion for caring for children and my dream of starting my own dental office. My warm and nurturing way of caring for my patients is a reflection of being a mother of two young children. Being a mom is a wonderful daily challenge. Yet, the emotional rewards bless me time after time. I truly enjoy being on the forefront of empowering my patients to value their oral health right from the get-go. I am passionate about helping young children phase out thumb sucking habits, and feel gratitude when we are able to overcome this challenge together. I am equally passionate about sharing my love for delicious and healthy plant-based cooking with my patient families. Good eating habits start in childhood and I love to partner with parents needing mind, body, and teeth-friendly snack suggestions. When I am not cooking, I can be found jogging, spending time with my 2 boisterous cockatiels, and jumping on the trampoline with my sons.
Bio
Dr. Lamba is a dedicated pediatric dentist and cofounder of Stellar Kids Dentistry. She was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. As a child, she was a competitive figure skater and pianist. As a high schooler, she served as a peer counselor and mediator and also excelled at shotput and the 100m dash. Dr. Lamba completed dental school at NYU in 2007. While living in New York, she studied at the renowned Natural Gourmet Institute. After dental school, she chose to complete her General Practice Residency at Harvard. During her residency, she served a pivotal role in the care of a 9-year-old child with Evan’s Syndrome, and this inspired her to pursue further training in Pediatric Dentistry. She completed Pediatric Dentistry Specialty training at Boston University, graduating in 2011. During residency, she and Dr. Paul were blessed to welcome the births of their 2 sons.
Dr. Lamba highly values strong family connections and chose to move back to Washington state so that her children would stay connected with their grandparents who live in Mukilteo. It has always been her dream to have her own office, and in 2012 she and Dr. Paul co-founded Mukilteo Kids Dentistry (predecessor to Stellar Kids Dentistry).
Dr. Lamba is very active in our community. She is the only pediatric dentist to service the Everett Naval Base and promote oral health amongst the pregnant sailors. She has served as the WSDA Spokesperson and was interviewed by Kiro News in 2015 about universal dental coverage for children. She has volunteered her time with the Everett Children’s Museum’s Toothapalooza Event which offers dental screenings to vulnerable children and youth. She has also served to support the Snohomish Dental Access Coalition and promote their outreach campaigns increasing access to care.
