I absolutely love being a pediatric dentist. I am so grateful for the opportunity to provide excellent dental and orthodontic care with such warmth and caring. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, to see them grow, and to value their oral health. It’s so awesome seeing my patients and families while out running, doing Crossfit, or volunteering in our community. Being a father of two young children has deepened my obsession about caring for every child as being unique and special.
Bio
Dr. Paul Kahlon is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and co-founder of Stellar Kids Dentistry. He was born and raised in small mining and logging towns in Alberta and British Columbia. Growing up, he played competitive soccer and varsity basketball, while helping his parents run their True Value Hardware store in Squamish, BC.
Dr. Paul completed dental school at the University of British Columbia in 2004, earning awards as a top clinician. In 2004, he also married his college sweetheart, Dr. Sonu Lamba and he moved to New York to join Dr. Lamba who was attending dental school at NYU. Dr. Paul practiced cosmetic and family dentistry for three years in New Jersey. Here he discovered he most enjoyed caring for children and completed his pediatric dental specialty training at Boston University, graduating magna cum laude in 2009 developing a special interest in pediatric growth and development and orthodontics. During two years of private practice at pediatric specialty offices in Massachusetts, Dr. Paul taught pediatric dentistry residents at Lutheran Medical Center and at his Alma Mater, BU.
Dr. Paul moved to Mukilteo with Dr. Lamba and their two children in 2011, founding Mukilteo Kids Dentistry in 2012. While growing their private practice, Dr. Paul pursued his interest in children’s orthodontics. He completed dental-facial orthodontic training with Progressive Orthodontics and completed the Masters Series earning their highest distinction.
Today, Dr. Paul is an exceptionally talented aesthetic pediatric dentist, blending both restorative and orthodontic techniques to create amazing smiles.
