Bio
Dr. Mariella Garcia loves helping children feel comfortable, confident, and cared for when they visit the dentist. Originally from Lima, Peru, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree before moving to the United States to complete her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Garcia is part of the faculty at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and serves on the medical staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she enjoys teaching future pediatric dentists how to provide the gentle, thoughtful care every child deserves.
As a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Garcia has advanced training in caring for infants, children, and teens, and she is passionate about making every visit a positive experience for her young patients and their families. She is also fluent in Spanish, which allows her to connect and communicate easily with Spanish-speaking families in the community.
When she’s not in the clinic or teaching, Dr. Garcia enjoys exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Sophia and Enzo.
